Course Description

This course is designed to introduce students to enterprise information storage and management concepts, issues, trends, and technologies. As a junior/senior level course, the focus will center on applying design concepts and associated technologies to real-world problems in the area of enterprise information storage and management . Existing partnerships with leading information management firms will be leveraged to provide real-world exposure to the complex enterprise information storage and management issues facing all organizations today. This course also focuses increasingly on the critical areas of information security and the emerging field of information storage virtualization.
